So we've just returned from a trip to Northern Georgia. It's one of the most naturally beautiful areas I've ever visited. We took the motorcycle and explored the local roadways and all they have to offer. This included riding the "Tail of the Dragon" in Deil's Gap North Carolina. I have to say all I saw there was the yellow line on the road. 632 turns in 22 miles was fun but it requires the utmost concentration especially with someone on the back of the bike. We also rode the "War Woman Trail" in Clayton, Georgia. I don't know how many turns but over a four day period I would say we executed over 2000 hair pen turns. I can say I did it but I am thinking I probably won't do it again. The best of the trip was when we put the bike away and went out in the truck so I could see all the things my wife was able to enjoy while she rode on the back. The mountains of Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina offer mild temperatures and a botanist's dream of wild flowers most of which I am not familiar with the names of. It was like a spring redo and a nice respite from the heat that we are experiencing in Florida as usual. We visited a couple of state parks that had beautiful landscapes and waterscapes complete with waterfalls. It was a great vacation. Next Saturday we are off again to Key West, Florida. I've never been there in my 52 odd years as a Floridian. Stay tuned. There will be more pictures to come.

I am 48 years old. I have only taken photography seriously in the last 3 months. Why, I don't know. It has given me renewed passion. I can do better and I will.
